Yasmin Sinclair from Compassionate Social Work

I am a social worker with a passion for community. I believe we all need a community around us to live a healthy, supported and fulfilled life.

I have many years experience supporting people individually to navigate services and get the support they need, but always alongside community engagement and co-design. People are the experts of their own lives and I believe people who need support services should be designing those services. Collectively we have the lived experience, knowledge and wisdom to design service for others like us.

As women age, most of us start to think about our health and wellbeing more. Self-care, self-compassion and building stronger connections with others promotes positive mental health as well as knock on benefits for our physical and emotional health. I have lived experience of dyslexia and I am a carer for my daughter with dyslexia and chronic fatigue. I take a person-centred, neuro-affirming and strengths based approach to working with people compassionately and collaboratively. The Wellness Series is all about how we prioritise ourselves, build self-care practices and develop the skills we need to live the lives we want

Lisa White from Imaginal Coaching

Our world thrives on the unique contributions of each individual, a mosaic of capabilities that enhances both our personal well-being and our collective resilience. At Imaginal Coaching, we delve into this diversity, uncovering and harnessing personal strengths that not only serve ourselves but enrich our communities and respect our natural surroundings.

I founded Imaginal Coaching driven by a passion to empower the marginalized sectors of my community—helping them generate sustainable income from what truly matters to them, all while honoring their unique capacities and limitations. This Wellness Series embodies that ethos, merging lived experience with the wisdom of inclusivity and codesign to foster health practices that support both individual fulfillment and community wellbeing.

My late diagnosis of Autism and ADHD deepened my commitment to these principles, giving me profound peace as it repairs and strengthens my relationships and connection to community. This personal journey has been a catalyst for creating safety and further opportunities for learning from the kind and generous people I share my life with.
